Korean singer Park Jae-beom, the former leader of boy band 2PM, will be extending his fan meeting in Korea next month by one day, according to event promoter MC Culturepia on Monday.
A press release from MC announced that Park, who is scheduled to hold his fan meeting in Seoul on August 28, will meet and greet his fans once again the following day at the Hwaseong Tiger Dome located in Korea University in Seoul.
He will participate in a question and answer session with his fans, a B-boy dance battle, games and other activities as well as performing with his dance crew AOM (Art of Movement).
The Seoul event will be the venue Park kicks off his Asia fan tour to be held in several countries including Taiwan, China, Thailand, the Philippines and Malaysia.
Park, 23, made his debut as the leader of the popular K-pop band 2PM but left the group and the country last September when controversy fired up over remarks he wrote on his MySpace account while a trainee at agency JYP Entertainment (JYPE).
He had been staying in the U.S. since, dancing with his b-boy crew AOM and signing with American online media company Digital Media Wire (DMW) to manage his global career in the entertainment business.
The singer recently signed with major Korean agency SidusHQ and has been filming the b-boy movie "Hype Nation".
He released his solo debut single "Count On Me" last week and the title track, of the same name, and album has topped several online and offline music charts.
