The clip shows the actor demonstrating how to “deliciously drink makgeolli” in fluent Japanese. The background music, “Bye Bye Bye,” was also sung by the actor himself.
He commented, “I think this ad was a great idea in promoting Korea’s makgeolli in Japan. Makgeolli has become popular in Japan lately, and I heard that a lot of people have started drinking it, so I hope that through this advertisement, more people will give love to our makgeolli.”
Meanwhile, the actor has postponed the release of his debut single in Japan, in addition to cancelling and refunding tickets to his official showcase concert. He recently took part in a photoshoot in England, and returned home to prepare for his upcoming Asian tour.
